The Pocket Coffee Company commissioned 4 corners for internal & external signage for their new coffee shop. They came to us with architects drawings and a basic logo showing a “Pocket” made from “Strands of thread”, which although looked good on paper, gave us a real challenge to manufacture.
We came up with some solutions to create the logo, using a steel box section and rods, welded together to give a “Rough” feel to the logo. We then had to find a way to create a more simplified version that could be greatly reduced in size and mounted externally along with “The Pocket” text. For this, we laser cut aluminum, which allowed us to get the fine detail in the logo and maintaining the overall brand. All this was finished with a unique aged bronze effect coating.
We managed the manufacturing and installation of the project . The project involved external wall signage, reworking an existing projecting sign and arranging a steel worker to fabricate a large external sign, which, after it had been powder coated, was then fitted to the wall. 4 corners was able to manage the process from the beginning, working with the Client’s designer, to come up with the type of logo that would work across various manufacturing process, right through to installation for the client, and with one point of contact this provide the client with the level of service they required.
We wish them the very best and every success in the future to their new venture; The Pocket Coffee Company.
